Deborah. I realy miss having a cat. we have a couple of STRAYS WHICH SHOW UP OCCASIONALLY AND WE GIVE THEM FOOD.WHEN WE HAD CATS THEY WERE OFTEN RIVETED TO THE WINDOWS WATCHING FROM THE BAY WINDOW. wATCHING BIRDS UP CLOSE IS AN ASORBING PASTIME. GLAD YOU AND YOUR KITTY ENJOYED! aNN
Nuthatches "take the cake" for WEIRD. They're one of my very favorites...so strange. They run so quickly up and down the bark that they almost look like scurrying mice. Once a red-breasted nuthatch tried to land on my head.
My cat (and I) found this riveting!

ReplyDeleteNuthatches are such fun and he certainly seems to be enjoying those seeds. 2 of my cats have favorite window where they birdwatch in the sunlight :-)
