There are 63 covered bridges in the province of New Brunswick and I love finding them in those 'out of the way' places. I have photographed most all of them, with only about 4 or 5 yet to locate. Good post and this enter helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you on your information.
Excellent photos. I particularly love the first one of his inquisitive nose. A confession: I just love ground hogs. You know, they're always the good guys in storybooks! :-) And I wish they were as huggable as they look. I'd love to pick one up...maybe I will in the New Earth.
We nicknamed the one in our backyard "Pudgy" and eventually all groundhogs assumed the name. Now when we see one when we're out and about, it's "Oh, look! There's a pudgy!"
We also like their other (commonly known) name: Whistle Pig.
p.s. They look a bit like little bear cubs.
Well how cute is this little guy? Very cute indeed!
I'm late getting here, but somehow I knew you would have a Groundhog :-) I haven't seen one in anyone else's blog so far. Great photos!
