Where we lived previously we had a couple of large Mountain Ash trees and an ornamental crabapple. Each year a horde of Evening Grosbeaks would arrive and stay for a few days until all the berries were gone! I would love to get them on my October list before the month is past and the berries are all gone. today it is Robins and Starlings again. This tree is practically at the edge of our deck. I can sit by the window with a cup of tea and have my camera nearby.
