Kept him (or her?) alive with mashed boiled egg yolks, applesauce, and canned dog food. He would sleep on my pillow every night. We he got old enough, each morning before school, I would put him out in a tree in my backyard. He would be ecstatic when I would come to get him each afternoon. This went on for months and months. Finally one afternoon - he wasn't waiting for me. I sure hope that he flew off with fellow birds, and had a long and happy life.
Thanks for bringing back the memories!Libby's Libraryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14121891614203314660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29934747.post-10410202903892833432008-11-16T17:31:00.000-04:002008-11-16T17:31:00.000-04:00excellent close ups and wow i love the header!!San...excellent close ups and wow i love the header!!Sandyi beatihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09898046178398533410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29934747.post-64723182254738841792008-11-16T15:44:00.000-04:002008-11-16T15:44:00.000-04:00Beautiful!I didn't realize how much I enjoyed blue...Beautiful!

I didn't realize how much I enjoyed blue jays until I moved some place that doesn't have them.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29934747.post-8965473883828950042008-11-16T08:51:00.000-04:002008-11-16T08:51:00.000-04:00What wonderful pictures/painting..Isn't the Blue J...What wonderful pictures/painting..
Isn't the Blue Jay a really beautiful bird?..sometimes I forget his beauty.Rosebud Collectionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06907760433209723539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29934747.post-89837380257902736042008-11-16T06:11:00.000-04:002008-11-16T06:11:00.000-04:00Gorgeous shots! They aren't here all summer, but now that winter is fast approaching, they make sure to stop by for some chow.
