I've seen male humingbirds hanging out not far from a nest and for maybe two weeks they are guardians.<br /><br />Some years ago we had problems with red-winged blackbirds dive bombing cyclists who were passing by. My wife gotpeckedon her helmet and a kid fell off of his bike and broke his arm<br /><br />Swallows are always welcomed!
