Outdoor Wednesday continued
A White Corporal Dragonfly upon a rock makes me think of prehistoric drawings or fossils. Today we saw this handsome Red-tailed Hawk on the power lines alongside a highway on our way home from grocery shopping.
I love the photos of the hawk, as well as the dragonfly. For some reason I just love dragonflies. My mom has quite a few photos of a red tail hawk that she saw perched outside near her deck. its really awesome.
Margot I was lucky to get the picture. We often see a hawk along the Branch Road but miss getting the picture. Today we were lucky. Thanks for your comment. Ann
Beautiful hawk! I haven't been seeing any now that spring/summer is here. You got great shots of him. Love the dragonfly...one I've never seen. They do have a prehistoric look and the area where their wings attach always looks sort of "robot" like to me!
great photo of the red-tailed..... a reward for putting up with the grocery shopping!

Great photo of the dragonfly, you really caught all the colours there and lucky spotting to find a hawk willing to pose for you.
