A young fawn
I saw this young fawn with an adult deer yesterday morning under the apple trees of an orchard. Their presence will not be appreciated there by the owner.
a spotted beauty
This young deer somehow was able to get through the fencing there.
They are so sweet when they're little but we know what they are capable of as they grow up. There is a doe with twins out back of us but they are too quick to capture. We have seen the fawns frolicking like children on occasion but I just know they will be eating my flowers one day.
Always nice to see a fawn, even if the adult deer are something of a nuisance - they love hosta flowers!

ReplyDeleteLove the cute spotted fawns. They are adorable. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI would be a failure as a grower. I could never be mad at a doe and her baby.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh....how sweet it is.
