As well as being toxic it is also very attractive and picturesque lying among the colourful leaves that have already fallen from the trees in our yard, so you can just enjoy its beauty without touching it.
I am linking today to Viewing nature with Eileen who hosts the weekly meme, Saturday Critters which can be found at:
Thank you Eileen for your weekly hosting. It is much appreciated.
The Moth almost blends into the fall surroundings.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. The American Dagger Moth Caterpillar really blends in well with the autumn leaves. Happy Critter Day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. It is definitely pretty enough to want to pet.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! And definitely a "leave me alone" kind of guy! :-)
ReplyDeletePretty color!
ReplyDeleteThat is a colorful one. The moth should be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots
ReplyDeleteHello!:) Lovely captures, and what a fantastic find. Caterpillars on ones doorstep don't happen all that often, if ever, and such a pretty one, spikes and all. I don't think I would even attempt to pick it up but I would certainly admire it's beauty.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
