I recall taking these pictures last
September, just a year ago. While checking out a small pond

I had caught a glimpse of a Cormorant in the river which was nearby and I was gradually making my way toward it when suddenly this
Osprey came plummeting down from above and grasped a Gaspereau in its talons. Its action was swift and successful.
