I think this is a very interesting looking moth. I found this species on a patch of Black-eyed Susans and also on the leaf of a Common Milkweed plant. The Yellow-collared Scape Moth and the Virginia Ctenucha are very similar looking and I am not sure which one this is.

Don't know how I missed this! I like that first picture and it's unusual perspective, but also love the bottom one with the yellow flower setting it off so nicely.
