Crocus or Daffodils for Mellow Yellow Monday?

Every spring for the past two or three we have eagerly waited to see our first crocus bloom. That wonderful event happened over the past weekend, not this one... but I have a worry or a concern. Are our flowers Crocus or Daffodils? I have noticed that others have posted pictures of their crocus now in bloom and they are beautiful But, they don't look like mine. No other pictures of crocus that I have viewed have the inner yellow fringed petals like mine!? So I did a google search for crocus and looked at images. I concluded that my crocus must be unique or else, they are not crocus but some kind of daffodils. And a goggle search for daffodil images did come
up with a couple of pictures that look like mine! So fellow bloggers and viewers and gardeners, I would like your comments please. Do I have crocus or daffodils growing in my garden?

Got pictures with yellow in them? Why not share them with others on Mellow Yellow Monday at: http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/

or, if yes, then please scroll down on the right hand side of this page until you come to the mellow yellow icon, Click on it and you're there. A Happy Mellow Yellow Monday to everyone!
