There is one four legged creature that is a frequent visiter to our bird feeder area that I have neglected to post photos of. Usually instead of taking its picture I try to shoo it away!
Cats and birds don't mix and I figure this one has a home somewhere nearby so does not need to hang around mine. But when I watched it the other day, through my window, I had to take a moment and admire its handsomeness. There is something about a cat that draws you to it and I think that this one had noticed me in the window and decided to give its most appealing pose.
Oh, what a cute cat. My cat Azrael stalks my birds, but rarely catches any. They are wise to her, and keep their distance. Anyway after a few minutes of harassing them she goes off to sleep someplace.
ReplyDeleteI am not a cat lover, but do admire their beauty. My neighbor has 5, and they are allowed to roam. One often chooses to curl up directly under my hummingbird feeder. No wonder I am not having many visitors to it lately
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty cat and I'm a cat lover. I agree with Becky that cats would rather go sleep or just watch. I have 3 and they sit and watch the birds outside at times and the birds don't seem to really care that much. The cats are a lot more interested in the squirrels :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have a problem with 2 outdoor cats here killing birds especially at this time of year with the ducklings being so vulnerable. My two guys are inside cats, but get to watch lots at the bird feeders....
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting little guy this is! Love the expression on his face in the last photo, like a real little lad! LOL
