Glancing out of an upstairs window I glimpsed another facsimile of sunshine in my garden. I ran out to take this first picture of a lily in bloom in my garden this summer.



My husband is very proud of his collection of beautiful healthy Hostas















Yesterday I noticed movement in our High Bush Cranberry Tree. Reaching for my camera I found the id very easy to make when seeing the yellow tip of the tail and the dark mask of a Cedar Waxwing. I was surprised as I had never seen the waxwings feed on the cranberry blossoms before tho I have photographed them feeding on the ripe berries in the fall as seen in the photo below.
