ONe of the nicest surprises is when you look out and you see one Downy Woodpecker and when you look again there are two. and you notice that the new arrival is a male wearing its traditional red cap.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite birds! I was able to get a good photo of a couple of them back in the winter time. They hung out around the house all winter here in Alabama.
