Swimming against the current for watery Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday

This is the scene that awaits the hundreds of gaspereau striving to make their way up stream to return to their spawning grounds. you can see them weaving their way through the falls and rapids.

Sometimes you can see a flash of silver telling you that they have flipped over as they float back down over the falls that they have just encountered.

                                                        This one has made it through.!

When I go to the falls I wander around the woods there

 looking for wildflowers like the purple violets above.

Yesterday I found Wood Anemone in bloom.
