Rose-breasted Grosbeak

For Ruby Tuesday ...

This photo showing a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in an oak tree is another one that I took years ago with my 0.3-Megapixel-disk-taking-"vintage"-digital Sony Mavica camera. This bird was photographed near Fredericton Junction, NB. He's got his red breast for Ruby Tuesday and is surrounded by lots of green leaves for St. Patrick's Day.

  1. He is a beautiful bird. I use to have a Sony Mavica camera. It took great pictures also. My daughter ended up with it. Helen

  2. That bird is beautiful but with a little red, just enough that he can hide nicely in the leaves!

  4. I really like these birds. We'll have 2 pair in the Spring that will visit my feeders often.
I had a Sony Mavica too, and it was my first digital camera.

I wasn't planning to get out with the camera today but this makes me want to get out and go find something to shoot. :-)
