Yellow Legs for Mellow Yellow Monday

If you can't see the yellow colored legs too clearly. Please click on the pictures to enlarge them. These birds were at a fair distance and I have had to crop the photos to check out this distinctive colour characteristic of this large shore bird. These pictures were taken at Saint Rest Marsh at the Irving Nature Park on Oct. 29
I have always loved this yellow legs feature. This group is the first yellow legs we have seen this year.
Happy Monday to all. To view a wonderful variety of yellow-themed photos from other bloggers around the world, just click on the link below

Those yellow legs sure do show up easily. I can never identify the sandpipers when I see some. They tend to all look alike.

I recently got to see some of these at Plum Island in Massachusetts! Fun birds!
