Grasshopper: Camera Critters #16

Can you see it? Perhaps this grasshopper didn't mean to seek out a camouflaged location on this old railroad tie, but it worked!

What a perfect blend! Hiding in plain sight :-) We miss seeing so much exactly because nature is so good at that. Good choice and photo!

Great disguise. The nature defends itself as you can.

You have a great photoblog. Congratulations!

Very cool find. I'll say as soon as I read the word grasshopper I saw the bugger without reading your commentary. I do have to admit though I don't know that I would have seen him if I was out walking around in nature though, maybe after he jumped off as I got to close for his comfort.

My that is great camouflage.

Great shot. The camouflage sure works to the grasshoppers advantage. Stop by and visit The Gardener Side to see my bluejay photos for Camera Critters this week.

Very sneaky grasshopper. Blended in very well! I love railroad ties. I know that's a random thought, but I do. :o)
