Are you sure this isn't a scene from the Wizard of Oz, before it goes technicolor? Such a lovely landscape capture. Nice natural frame to the scene.

hi lenora:
I took this photo this morning while I stood on my favourite spot overlooking the river. I have been experimenting with using a B&W setting and was pleased with the results myself. I appreciate your comment.

Lovely B&W landscape with all the tones well controlled. Yes, good frame with the branches.

Happy SW Friday!

Lovely contrast between the bare twigs and the leafy twigs, and between the trees and the sky.

Wow, when your photo first popped up I felt like I was falling into an old silver screen movie. I half expected Gregory Peck to come canoing around the corner. I love all the silver and gray tones you caugth with this photo. It's wonderfully composed and well shot!

B&W is very effective here. Somehow it reminds me of my endless childhood summers when we used to look up at the clouds and name shapes.

This is stunning. One might not think a black and white would make a great shot like this but you did it! :-)

B&W is what really makes this shot!

This is such a beautiful shot - if it was in colour it would spoil the effect. I love this.

Ann: What a neat shot of the Sky and the river. A river runs through it, a movie I love.
