Rosy Maple Moths for Ruby Tuesday

I have been seeing these Rosy Maple Moths everywhere recently in my community. To me they are delicately beautiful! I love their rosy colour. On door casings, on building walls under outdoor lights as shown in the two pictures below

There seem to be hundreds of them.

Happy Ruby Tuesday to all. Ruby Tuesday http://work of the poet.blogspot.com/ is a meme hosted by Mary, the Teach, that celebrates red. To see more contributions to this meme or to share your own red for

I've never seen this kind of moth - nor have I ever seen so many in one place. So interesting!

Happy RT!

Thay have a lovely color. I'm not sure that having such numbers is comfortable, though. I've never seen a huge group of moths like that.

I have never seen this moth - it is delicately beautiful for sure, but I think I like their picture much more than I would like them "in person" !!!

Wow! you saw this many? How awesome! I think moths have the most beautiful colors and designs, each being truly unique. Our AC is out and we have been sweating like crazy with the high heat and humidty. I have an attic fan, and when you open the windows it really does draw some cool air through. At night though, it seems that every bug finds its way through the screens. Some are really annoying, but the moths that seem to work their way in, when we open and close the back door have been a pleasure to look at it. unfortunately my dog likes trying to catch them.
