Was he singing, "Me..and my shadow..strolling down the avenue"? That's a great pose with the head turned and foot up and the nice little shadow! Great shot!

I love crows, and this fellow out for a stroll with his little shadow is a great capture! When I lived out West I used to go to pow wows a lot, and one of my favorite dances was the "crow hop" that had a drum beat and a strut-step that resembled the way the birds move. You can see it at

Thank you for the 'Crow Hop' url. I often look at nature and get insight into how original dances might have been inspired to imitate creatures in nature. Sometimes its fun to do the imitation yourself. My first introduction to Indian dancing was watching the 'Chicken Dance' on the outskirts of Banff one summer, then later watching the dances at the Calgary Stampede.

What a lovely dancer, or skater? My shadow shot this week was sand piper birds. I love the animal shots best of all.
