a yellow coloured jelly fungus for Mellow Yellow Monday

Although this jelly fungus shown above is yellow in colour, its actual name is an orange jelly fungus, however my information source states that the orange jelly fungus can also be orange yellow in colour, so I guess that would account for the colour of this particular one. I think it is quite attractive in its lobed convoluted shape and it is known for growing on old tree stumps which is where this one was located as can be seen by the photos above and below.
As a resource I used the book 'Mushrooms of Ontario and Eastern Canada, (p.102) by George Barron. And although I didn't touch this jelly itself; Barron states that it is of a slimy, soft, gelatinous composition.
