Finding gold for mellow yellow monday
The yellow centers of wild strawberry blossoms were a golden surprise to find today. Its seems early for these blossoms.

American Goldfinch visiting and one of their favourite feeding spots was at the top of our garden pillar when I had placed a cupful of seeds on its top. At one point there was a goldfinch in the cup ( a missed photo opportunity.) perhaps that is how the cup had gotten turned over?
