My find of the day; a Kingfisher for Camera Critters

Its early , but they're back! A wonderfu sighting in place of the Wood Ducks I didn't find this morning. This is a pond with a lot of potential, I saw two great blue herons here earlier this week. Do you see their pictures? No!!!

Camera Critters is a meme that features critters, any kind, any size. To see more of this meme please click on the CC logo which can be found on the right sidebar on this page. A happy weekend to all.

a garden of thread, for this picture I used a 70 -300mm This is the lens I use most often although I occassionally use a 100-400 IS lens. I prefer the 300 mm as its weight and size is easier to manage . Glad that you enjoyed.

Now that's a beautiful photo of a kingfisher! Usually they are sitting on the wires! My goal is to capture one like you have! ~ks
