Leaves

Our local  world is now at that delightful stage of spring when the trees are beginning to leaf out; the leaves on some trees now appear to be about the size of mouse ears!
As an example I include this photo taken at Christ Church Cathedral yesterday in
Fredericton. The newly opening leaves of the tree screening the stone walls appear as if small lights in the morning sun.

I love the light showing through the fresh new leaves and catkins on the trees right now. This looks so pretty against the cathedral.
