Rose-breasted Grosbeak
For Ruby Tuesday ...
This photo showing a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in an oak tree is another one that I took years ago with my 0.3-Megapixel-disk-taking-"vintage"-digital Sony Mavica camera. This bird was photographed near Fredericton Junction, NB. He's got his red breast for Ruby Tuesday and is surrounded by lots of green leaves for St. Patrick's Day.

He is a beautiful bird. I use to have a Sony Mavica camera. It took great pictures also. My daughter ended up with it. Helen
That bird is beautiful but with a little red, just enough that he can hide nicely in the leaves!
Wonderful capture of a lovely colorful bird amongst the green foliage ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I really like these birds. We'll have 2 pair in the Spring that will visit my feeders often.
I had a Sony Mavica too, and it was my first digital camera.

OH what a red chest she have. Lovely shot so complete with red and green. :)
Love the intense colour of the bird in that sea of green! Beautiful photo!
Hi Riel, great photo for Ruby Tuesday and St. Patty's Day! :)
That's so beautiful. The red breast really stands out!
He is so beautiful! I look forward to their brief visit here in May. He really stands out in all that green. I hope your mom is doing well.
That is a classic shot!! I love their pretty song, too.
Such a beautiful bird and he is a nice splash of color against all that rich foliage. Great photo!
I wasn't planning to get out with the camera today but this makes me want to get out and go find something to shoot. :-)
