Dandelions for Mellow Yellow Monday
They're a very eye catching yellow! And they are survivors. These three pictures above show the deep determination these wildflowers have to grow. Dandelions can put on quite a show of yellow beauty as can be seen in the above and below photos of a couple of fields full of them.

Good morning Ann, a lovely series of photographs for Mellow Yellow. You show the dandelion in a very beautiful way. Have a great week.
I LOVE wildflowers!! Beautiful:)
Goodness....I don't think I have ever seen a whole field of them! They really are a cheerful flower if we would stop thinking of them as weeds.
I love dandelions. So many people fight so hard to be rid of them. I've been known to do it myself - but no more. I just enjoy them.
bobbie,
The dandelions become so plentiful we dig the roots of them from our lawn, but they are persistent in their growth and we are never fully rid of them, but I do like their beauty.
Ann
Even the Dandelion is pretty in spring.

Ours are just about to bloom here in Seattle. Removal is really a loosing battle anyway!
I used to have pastures of dandelions at my old place in the foothills. The went from green to gold to silver. Dandelions are not welcome around here, though; people are into their lawns instead, although they may have to rethink that now that Ontario has banned cosmetic garden herbicides.
Hi Ann, So glad to hear from you again. Hope things are going well for you.
I do like Dandilions, but soon tire of them when that's all you see in your lawn. I remember as a child , my Mom always would fix dandilion greens with bacon and vinegar as soon as they appeared. Yum.
Isn't the dandelion among the first flowers that a child picks to give to an adult? That alone makes it special. And. You can eat the greens!
pagan, What a lovely observation of a child picking dandelions - so true! We probably all did that. my children did!
Lovely Dandelion photos! Hard to think of them as 'weeds' in these beautiful pictures.
Hugs and blessings,
And people call them weeds! Isn't that terrible! Happy MYM!
