Mackeral Clouds for Skywatch Friday
Wednesday morning the sky was definitely grey and overcast, but what a beautiful mackerel pattern of clouds it displayed.
I watch birds a lot and I have observed that birds also watch the skies a lot. Here are two recent examples of our feathered sky watchers:
a small flock of starlings, and today I took this photo of a handsome 
Tree Sparrow against the blue sky.
