Great Blue Heron in Flight
Sometimes you just have to point your camera skyward and cross your fingers in hopes that you can get a photo. Such was the case last week one day while standing on the shoulder of the Branch Road when I spied a Great Blue Heron flying overhead. Herons are such magnificent birds!

I really enjoy seeing them too, and have yet to capture a good picture like yours!! They really are amazing!!
