Nuthatches "take the cake" for WEIRD. They're one of my very favorites...so strange. They run so quickly up and down the bark that they almost look like scurrying mice. Once a red-breasted nuthatch tried to land on my head.

Nuthatches are such fun and he certainly seems to be enjoying those seeds. 2 of my cats have favorite window where they birdwatch in the sunlight :-)
