Beautiful pictures. I especially like the reflections of the frog.
..happy pictures, fun melodies..for sharing these many thanks..
Those are great Ann! And of course the photos are perfect! I really love that frog photo! I like the "paradiddle beats" of the rain and the yellowthroat's "unrehearsed performance". Nice post!
All marvelous. The first one made me smile. I have felt the same way about these fellows. They are the blues singers of the wild.

I really love your, "blues singers of the wild" line! :-)

I like the word 'paradiddle' and as its a drumming term I thought it fit in well relating to the rhythmn of the rain. We also had a cat once that we had named Pythagorus Paradiddle! Glad that you enjoyed.
Gorgeous pictures and words...an excellent post!
I also loved Paradiddle! It is fun on the tongue! Your take on melody is similar to mine in that we both chose the melody of nature! All nature is a stage, indeed! Wonderful!
Fantastic pictures - frog and yellowthroat excellent. And they illustrated the poetry perfectly.
I love them all! The yellowthroat unrehearsed in my favorite.

Yes, we both chose melodies in nature and it was a very adaptable prompt for this subject. Your words and photo and video illustrate so well the harmony and coexistence of nature! Lovely!
Each one is so lovely and the photos are the perfect accompaniments.
How wonderfully crafted Ann. Loved every one. I think Mr. Froggie was my fav though...I betcha he's got a nice bass tone LOL. Excellent!

I'm especially partial to the frog and the yellow throat! These are delightful! Oh - and paradiddle is such a great word! Brava for that one.
Beautiful!
Paradiddle, yes. I am writing down that one. That word could be a prompt. I could write something about paradiddles.
Or is it paradiddli? paradiddlums?
(Sorry, couldn't help myself)
Great job on this prompt!

Love that first one! That frog is absolutely marvelous. And you used the word "paradiddle" in a haiku! Wow.
I really like the last one, though they are all very nice.
Adore all the cameo profiles of nature's music in action!
Well, you were certainly inspired by this prompt! But, since nature is always singing her song to us and you are always listening, I am not surprised! Well Done!
Those brought a smile to my lips.
Thanks.
Perfect! The melody is visible in words and photos!
Fantastic! You're so good at this. Your pictures are beautiful!
I have a percussion background, so I loved the use of "paradiddle" here. Beautiful work!
The paradiddle is a 4 note sticking pattern consisting
of 2 alternating notes followed by a diddle. The basic
pattern is RLRR LRLL, where the pattern itself always
alternates; i.e. the first paradiddle starts with one
hand, the second starts with the other, etc.
